Collin trained initially as a traditional animator. Although he traveled a different path, he still attempts to depict movement in his work. Look for the subject about to take an anticipated step or follow through on a gesture. He uses color to help push the line of action or shift the center of balance. When the figure is still, he also uses color to indicate the activity surrounding them.
